The app, available for Apple and Android phones and tablets, features a geo-locator, a flexible method of presenting questions and responses to users, the ability to present and upload images, a UPC barcode scanner, and automatic reminders to prompt respondents to enter information based on location and event.
In a company statement, Carol Haney, Toluna’s Vice President of Group Product Marketing, explained, “The mobile app stands out in at least two novel ways – item powers consumers to provide feedback at any time of the day at their convenience; and it rewards them on-the-spot for their effort through incentives, coupons, and the like. Together, this will increase the accuracy and speed of data collection, analysis, and insight generation for marketers, brands, and others that value timely consumer feedback.”
Toluna offers mobile surveying technology, coupled with access to survey respondents that are ‘on-the-go’ via the Toluna Mobile panel. The service competes in a cluttered space that has various players such as Vovici, SurveyMe and even with the likes of Snap Surveys and SurveyMonkey that are available on multi devices.
