Howard Nead, IPG Mediabrands

IPG Mediabrands has appointed Howard Nead for the newly created position of Business Development Director for the network’s G14 market cluster. G14 comprises high-growth and priority markets for the media holding company that includes the likes of Australia, China, India, Japan, Benelux, Brazil, France, Germany, UK & Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia and Spain.

In this role, Mr Nead will provide strategic leadership, unlocking client opportunities and helping to develop new business strategy in the G14. He will be overseeing IPG Mediabrands’ business development teams at UM, Initiative and BPN to refine and manage how the pitching process operates and working alongside the network’s marketing and communications offices to better align agency messaging.

Mr Nead has over 20 years of experience with PHD Media, having been a director of its buying department and MD of its digital division, followed by a stint as Managing Partner. In his most recent role as Worldwide Business Development Director for PHD, he has overseen all international pitches.

As Business Development Director, G14 for IPG Mediabrands, Mr Nead will be working out of London. He will report to Mr Hytner.
