UM Singapore has appointed Russell Lai to the Senior Business Director’s position overseeing the agency’s business development, building competencies including social and digital, programmatic and search, as well as leading the teams to bring UM clients cutting edge media solutions in their efforts for brand building.
A media expert with a career spanning more than a decade and numerous awards to his credit, Mr Lai has worked with brands such as Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group, Health Promotion Board, Singapore Air Force, Hewlett Packard, Standard Chartered Bank and Resorts World in a regional capacity. Some of the campaigns he led for Health Promotion Board instance, such as Miracle Tonic, Chill Central, Life Is A Gamble and Lucky Got Kaki; Singapore Air Force’s I Am The Wind and First Law of Physics have won accolades at Effies, Singapore Media Awards and Singapore Outdoor Advertising Awards. Russell was also voted as the 25 Rising Star Under 35 by Marketing Magazine in 2009.
