One of the youngest categories at Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity, Mobile has seen a year-on-year increase in the entries competing. From the 47 entries in 2011, in 2012, agencies entered 74 pieces of work to compete for Mobile Spikes which further grew to 124 in 2013.
The Mobile category is being judged by the same jury as Digital, which is headed by Masaru Kitakaze, Executive Creative Director and Corporate Officer of Hakuhodo as Jury President. The jury picked 20 entries to make it to Mobile shortlist.
Leading the shortlists is Japan with seven entries, followed by Singapore with six entries. Australia and China have five entries each in the shortlist. Some of the other entries are from New Zealand, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong.
