AdAsia Holdings, a technology company developing solutions in artificial intelligence (AI) and marketing, has appointed Jun Ogawa as Country Manager, Japan. He will also take the role of Regional Director of Advertiser Engagement.
Mr Ogawa held leadership roles in Kaizen Platform, Recruit Holdings, and at Google Japan, where he was one of the founding members and led the industry and agency sales teams.
“AdAsia Holdings has seen incredible growth over the past 20 months. With the acquisition of FourM, Japan has quickly become a key market for the company and I will be looking to further drive the Advertiser Engagement department across our offices. It is exciting to join a company that is just embarking on its expansion across industries to provide businesses with a suite of AI-driven solutions,” said Mr Ogawa.
In his new role, Mr Ogawa reports to Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder of AdAsia Holdings. “Jun exemplifies our company culture, and has had tremendous results and experience in the marketing industry. He is the first and most appropriate person to hold this dual role, and we are confident that he will enhance our momentum in Japan and in the marketing industry,” said Mr Sogo.
The Singapore-headquartered company began operations in April 2016, and currently has 10 offices in nine countries, including recent office expansions in Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo.
