APAC disappoints in Cyber Lions with only 11 metals

APAC had a disappointing performance in the Cyber Lions category at Cannes this year when it managed to secure only 11 awards out of the total of 126 given for the category.

This year’s tally was the lowest since the last two years. In 2013, the region secured 19 trophies and last year it got 24 awards in the category.

Out of the 11 awards, two were Gold which went to Cheil Worldwide Seoul’s ‘Look at Me’ campaign for Samsung and M&C Saatchi’s ‘Clever Buoy’ campaign.

Besides these, the agencies from the region managed to secure four Silver Lions and five Bronze Lions.

Australian and Japanese agencies bagged four awards each. Singapore, New Zealand and South Korea had one award each.
