Following a successful Spikes Asia which saw seven winning campaigns from Singapore agencies, the Festival has released the full Country Agency of the Year rankings.
The Country Agency of the Year Award is given to the Agency from an individual country that obtains the most points overall for entries in the Spikes Asia Awards. It is one of the Special Awards categories which also includes; Network of the Year, Asia Pacific Agency of the Year, Independent Agency of the Year, The Spikes Palm Award, Media Network of the Year along with the individual Country Agencies of the Year.
BBH Asia Pacific (Singapore) was awarded with the highest number of awards across agencies in Singapore at the 2018 Awards. “The IKEA Human Catalogue” campaign which went viral in 71 countries and accumulated a reach of 73,000,000 people was the main contributor to BBH’s success at Spikes Asia.
Speaking on the winner, Joe Pullos, Festival Director at Spikes Asia said, “2018 has been an exciting year for creativity in Asia and BBH has led the awards tally for Singapore with several outstanding campaigns and therefore have earned the prestigious Spikes Asia Singapore Agency of the Year Award.”
15 juries composed of 95 of the regions most talented and celebrated creative leaders undertook a rigorous judging process to ensure that the work recognised was of the highest calibre. In addition, PwC conducted independent assurance of the judging processes, verifying the standards required to be honoured with a Spikes Award.
