Australian media communication company STW Group owned Bohemia has appointed a new digital director to drive its digital business in the market. The agency has hired Ikon Communications’ social media director James Collier as digital director for the company. His role will be to build the digital capabilities around client assets.
Talking about the new recruit, Brett Dawson, managing partner, Bohemia said “We are delighted that someone of James’ calibre and experience will be part of the Bohemia journey. We are building the digital capability around client asset leverage and creation rather than just buying ads, and with James being at the forefront of both social and mobile we are well placed to deliver brilliant work in this space for our clients”.
The agency informed that Collier was hired because of his innovative and creative approach in the digital media space. He has pioneered award-winning work for the Commonwealth Bank and has developed and managed the execution of digital and social media strategies for leading brands such as Coca Cola and Microsoft (where Collier was Digital Brand Strategist).
With over ten years experience, Collier has worked on three continents partnering with large national and multinational organisations to develop both brand and acquisition led digital programmes.
