Interactive marketing company Cyber Communications Inc. (CCI) and video ad serving platform SpotX has signed a partnership to provide over 500 publishers in Japan with ad serving and programmatic enablement technology.
Dentsu-owned CCI has selected SpotX ad serving platform to power premium video inventory sales for the publishers within their network, which includes broadcasters’ original video content.
“We have partnered with SpotX to help our prestige publishers better manage their video inventory via a single platform, that provides the controls and transparency needed to maximize revenue in a brand-safe environment,” said Akio Niizawa, Representative Director,
President at CCI.
“CCI only works with the market leaders in each technology vertical and SpotX is a leader in advanced video ad serving for publishers,” Niizawa said.
CCI connects publishers with its ad buying clients, which also number more than 500, including Dentsu and ADK, an affiliated company of the WPP Group.
“CCI is a strategic partnership for SpotX that will see our technology enter the Japanese market. It is very exciting to be in Japan right now with more and more Japanese consumers watching and consuming video content on mobile, desktop, tablet and connected TV. Global brands are already using video to engage their target audiences both locally and globally to reach these consumers at the right time in the right place. It is time for the media owners to capitalise on the evolution of video advertising with the right tools and controls to increase their ad revenue,” said Mike Shehan, CEO, SpotX.
