Change of guard at Vserv’s SE Asia ops as Vikas Gulati quits

After a stint of two and a half years, Vikas Gulati, Vice President, Southeast Asia of Vserv, is moving on from the mobile marketing platform. To continue its focus on the region, Vserv has promoted Narayan Murthy to VP – Global Sales (E-commerce & Brands), where he will spearhead Vserv’s efforts globally including Southeast Asia.

Confirming the development, Dippak Khurana, Co-Founder & CEO, Vserv said, “During his two and a half year stint with us, Vikas has been instrumental in driving our operations in Southeast Asia, which is one of the key growth regions for us across emerging markets. We wish him all the best for his future.”

“The last two and a half years at Vserv have been a really fulfilling experience, building the Southeast Asia business. Vserv is today a leading player in the mobile marketing landscape in Southeast Asia. I have had the opportunity to work with a great, strong team on the ground and I am proud of all that has been achieved in this relatively short span,” said Mr Gulati, and added, “My decision to move on is driven by my entrepreneurial ambitions and engaging in opportunities that propel my career to next level. An area that I am currently actively pursuing is seed investing in start-ups in Southeast Asia. I wish everyone at Vserv all the very best for the future.”

Both Mr Khurana and Mr Gulati directed attention to Vserv’s smart data driven mobile marketing platform as an avenue that would lead the company’s Southeast Asia efforts.

Mr Gulati has over 14 years of experience in media and marketing industry. He has previously worked with Sprice.com, ZenithOptimedia and Carat India.
