Data pick of the day: 2 in 5 fitness fanatics listen to podcasts on mobile

GlobalWebIndex’s latest research shows that mobile podcasts are a hit among fitness fanatics. This audience is 35 per cent more likely than the average to be listening to podcasts via mobile, and it’s now two in five who do so monthly.

GWI’s chart also highlights that this appeal is consistent across age too, with figures approaching one in two among 25-34s. Compared to internet users of the same age group, Fitness Fanatics across the ages significantly over-index for this mobile activity, especially among older cohorts.
