Econsultancy, e2i & NTUC launch digital marketing course

Global digital publishing, consultancy and training group Econsultancy, the Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) and the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) U Associate has jointly developed the Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing in Singapore targeting to train at least 300 practitioners to take on digital marketing roles.

The first intake for the Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing will commence on 21 February 2018. Those enrolled in the programme will get funding of up to 70 per cent of the $5,400 course fees from e2i subject to eligibility requirements. NTUC members can enjoy additional subsidy of $250 under the Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).

The programme will take a blended learning approach. It consists of a seven-day face to face workshop, Econsultancy’s online learning modules as well as post-workshop mentorship by digital marketing practitioners.

The first three days will cover digital marketing fundamentals such as email marketing, content marketing, display advertising and social media advertising. This will be followed by two two-day workshops focusing on the largest identified skills gaps, data and analytics, and search marketing.

The Digital Marketing Training Needs in Singapore 2017 survey conducted earlier this year in collaboration with NTUC U Associate, e2i and Workforce Singapore (WSG), identified data analytics as the top digital marketing skills gap that organisations need to fill.

The digital marketing certification programme will help people already in or seeking a position in marketing to be equipped with the relevant skills.”

The certification programme is one such avenue that gives marketers a stepping stone to equip them with useful digital marketing knowhow and skillsets.”
