Eight APAC leaders to judge Cyber entries at Cannes Lions 2014

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced the jury members for some of the award categories. Cyber Lions, that looks to recognise the best of digital, would be chaired by Susan Bonds, Chief Executive Officer, 42 Entertainment as its Jury President.

Ms Bonds would be joined by eight leaders from the Asia Pacific region for the Cyber Lions.

These include Aaron Turk, Head of Digital Creative, Colenso BBDO in New Zealand; Atawoot Wesaranurak, Founder/Managing Director, Adapter Digital in Thailand; Brian Yongsik Nam, Chief Executive Officer, Cheil Opentide from China; Jung A Kim, Executive Creative Director, Innocean Worldwide based in South Korea; Kaoru Sugano, Creative Technologist, Dentsu from Japan; Kristian Saliba, Digital Head of Art, The Monkeys of Australia; Meera Sharath Chandra, Founder CEO & Chief Creative Officer, Tigress Tigress in India and Valerie Cheng, Chief Creative Officer, JWT who is based in Singapore.

Commenting on the overall jury line-up, Philip Thomas, CEO of Lions Festivals said, “The prestige associated with winning a Lion is largely a result of the calibre of the professionals judging the work. It is therefore fitting to have such a formidable group of industry experts, who will no doubt help inspire and advance the global communications industry with the outcome of their deliberations. We very much look forward to welcoming them all to Cannes in June.”
