Ferrero Rocher launches digital gifting campaign in China

SapientNitro has launched a gifting platform for Ferrero Rocher that enables Chinese consumers to personalise Ferrero Rocher’s Christmas gifts.

The campaign platform is called ‘Give with an extra layer of thought’. Consumers can customise their gift via a team of ‘Thoughtful Masters’ which is lead by Huang Lei, a prominent Chinese actor and director, who will launch the campaign.

Tony Zhang, Marketing Director at Ferrero China says, “SapientNitro is spearheading the Ferrero Rocher spirit of thoughtful gifting. As we continue to celebrate our unique heritage and product, this new campaign will enable our consumers to be inspired beyond our product.”

As well as being able to personalise the Ferrero Rocher bundle pack gift, via a physical and virtual card online, the consumer will also be able to share their message across social channels such as Wechat and Weibo.

SapientNitro is handling the concept, creative development, gift bundle pack development and execution of Ferrero Rocher’s ‘Thoughtful Masters’ campaign, while Carat, Ferrero Rocher’s media and communications agency is handling the media partnership alongside iQiyi, a Chinese video portal.
