Geometry Japan names new ECD

Geometry Japan has announced the appointment of Fumitaka Takano as Executive Creative Director. Fumitaka is tasked with scaling up the agency’s creative offering and delivering transformational solutions, to provide the best brand experience.

His latest stint was at ADK Tokyo as a creative director and communication architect, building campaigns from strategic planning through creative execution. With his entrepreneurial spirit, he set out to launch the agency’s digital creative team ‘NOIMAN’ in 2014. He then took digital creativity even further, establishing innovative approach across digital and traditional channels to build brand equity and positive ROI. Throughout his 20-years career, he has worked with a range of domestic and global brands, such as Toyota, Air New Zealand, Ikea, Mondelez, to name but a few.

Commenting on the appointment, Ichiro Ota, CEO of Geometry Japan, said, “We are so fortunate to have him on board. With his extensive and solid history of creating breakthrough work, Fumitaka is the industry’s true visionary. Fumitaka’s work has been recognised at international festivals, including Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, The One Show, New York Festivals, Adfest, and Adstars. He has also served as the jury for Cyber and Promo & Activation at Cannes Lions, Promo & Direct and Digital & Mobile at Spikes Asia and Cyber at Adfest.
