GumGum, the artificial intelligence company, has appointed Sarah Baskerville as its Victorian Sales Director.
“As more Australian organisations are realising the strong brand building potential of GumGum’s in-image advertising solutions, it made sense to build out our strategic sales expertise in Victoria,” said Jon Stubley, MD of GumGum Australia and New Zealand.
He added, “Sarah is an experienced leader in the digital media space who will strengthen our Victorian partnerships and drive sales strategy within our growing Melbourne team.”
Ms Baskerville joins GumGum from Ansible where she spent two years as Melbourne Mobile Director. Her primary role was to be a digital transformation advocate responsible for educating key Australian marketers on the role of mobility for brands through the eyes of the consumer. During her tenure, her team delivered over 100 percent growth in mobile marketing billings in under 12 months.
Prior to joining Ansible she was Head of Specialist Sales & Partnerships at News Corp Australia, and held a number of sales and account management roles at Bauer Media Australia, Pacific Magazines and Fairfax Media.
Ms Baskerville added, “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at a key time in establishing GumGum’s unique position in the Victorian market and I look forward to introducing new brands to GumGum’s valuable digital marketing capabilities. It is an exciting field to be working in and I can’t wait to see where our computer vision capabilities are headed next.”
