Havas Media Hong Kong has appointed Tonia Au as director of Client Services. In her new role, Tonia will work with key existing clients including Shangri-La Hotel, Samsung Electronic & Mobile and support new business development for agency’s Hong Kong hub office. She will also support Havas Media’s specialist mobile marketing brand Mobext, which was launched last year.
Commenting on her appointment, Jason Kwong, General Manager of Havas Media Hong Kong, said, “Tonia is a fantastic addition to our Hong Kong team. She will play an important role in strengthening our current services offering and provide holistic digital solutions including mobile. Her considerable knowledge and experience in the industry will be an asset to our existing and potential clients.” Her career has seen her handling a large number of blue chip brands including GSMA, FedEx, Philips Lighting, RIM, Johnson & Johnson and HSBC.
Au joins the agency with 15 years of experience in the advertising industry, ten of which have been spent in digital marketing. She was most recently a Digital Business director at JWT. Prior to that, she has worked for Omnicom Media Group, The Hyperfactory, Digitas and DDB.
