Havas Media Ortega (HVMO) has won the advertising account of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, the country’s leading independent and fast growing oil company. The agency group will handle the media planning and buying business of the brand along with the creative services. HVMO was handed the account without a pitch process.
Talking about the new partnership, Celina I. Matias, brand and marketing manager of Phoenix Petroleum stated, “We were impressed by HVMO’s capabilities as a whole. In 2007, Phoenix was the 473rd largest corporation in the country based on revenue and in 2012 it has become the 84th largest company. Phoenix has also expanded its network of stations from 32 stations in 2007 to 250 this year.
Now the company is gearing up to further improve its brand identity and recall. In 2013, the company is expecting a growing retail network with more and more Phoenix mega-stations. The new units will offer modern conveniences beyond fuel ranging from retail shops to convenience stores, auto services and money transfer to go with ATM, credit card facility, service bay and clean and air-conditioned restrooms.
