In the backdrop of Delhi Assembly elections that concluded on February 7, InviteReferrals.com had launched a campaign for the Aam Aadmi Party to collect maximum donations for the same through referral marketing.
InviteReferrals works on customer referral campaigns that are focussed on increasing the reach of the message, 360 degree branding and consequently a jump in sales/service.
Under the campaign, each donor was asked to challenge at least 10 more friends to donate. Donor could easily import his contact list, share on social media or message on popular apps such as WhatsApp. The entire referral marketing campaign, tracking and notifications were automated through InviteReferrals software. There was no monetary reward for referring friends but a thank you note was sent to the donor for each referral donation through him.
On back of the campaign, 21,000 donors challenged their friends to donate toward Aam Aadmi Party, online. Also there were 100,000 e-mail invites, 10,000 shares on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and other different mobile messaging applications.
Through the campaign, more than 1 million people were reached, close to 3,500 people donated through friend referrals, and INR 18 million worth of donations were collected through friend referrals online.
