IPG Mediabrands Malaysia has integrated its marketing cloud consulting services to amplify its research and consulting arm, Inventure; and promoted Sujith Rao as Inventure’s Vice-President.
Inventure, the research and consulting arm of IPG Mediabrands, has grown from a team of three to twelve over the last two years. The unit provides services such as shopper strategy, segmentation and growth analysis, corporate reputation study, digital and traditional media analysis. Inventure will now see the integration of analytics and cloud consulting capabilities to offer a wider range of solutions with the client’s business performance at its core.
Solutions will include marketing cloud consulting, go-to-market sales strategy for B2B clients, pricing analysis, and website analytics and optimisation. Partnering with various ad tech solution providers, the consulting arm will further offer a unique set of capabilities, from optimising consumer touch points to driving marketing effectiveness and identifying additional sources of revenue for clients.

The promotion of Mr Rao, previously Senior Director – Digital Analytics at IPG Mediabrands, is to merge these capability sets seamlessly to assist clients to better optimise their marketing and communications budgets. Mr Rao has over 10 years’ experience as a data scientist, working across various industries such as airlines, banking and telco. His contribution in analytics and automation has resulted in Mediabrands investing in building tools that focus towards increasing organisational productivity, and he has successfully driven the marketing automation agenda for multi-billion dollar global and local clients.
Mr Rao adds, “Many clients have invested in marketing cloud services, but have yet to maximise its capabilities. We have expertise working across various ad tech solutions, and can help clients extract the maximum value of their own data to improve their business performance.”
Inventure was previously led by Munish Bhamoriya, a seasoned marketing, brand and strategy head. “We would like to thank Munish for his contribution within Inventure and his pivotal role in growing our consultancy business,” said Mr Pomaleh.
