To promote digital strategies into overall client communications, Isobar Asia Pacific has transferred Carat China’s client business director Rohan Lightfoot as integrated business director for Isobar Asia Pacific. In his new job role Lightfoot will provide support on NowLab innovations and manage the strong client relationship with Adidas, a shared client of Carat and Isobar.
Lightfoot will continue to be based in Shanghai and will report to Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar Asia Pacific; his new post comes to effect from May this year. “Rohan’s background in traditional brand building and media fuses well with his passion for integrating digital into overall communications. Isobar is the global home of pioneering talents and adidas is one of the most digitally-savvy brands in China; consistently investing in digital innovation and building engagement. Within Aegis Media Group, we encourage the fluid transfer of talent across different agency brands. This is how we deal with the new world of convergence; we embrace digital-minded talents from all disciplines,” said Jean Lin.
Lightfoot spent the last five years client business director at Carat China. In this role Lightfoot led Adidas’ award-winning 2008 Olympic campaign and has managed several award-winning campaigns since. “I am delighted to take on this new challenge and believe that Isobar’s visionary leadership, incredible talent pool and relentless determination to lead clients forward, make this a dream opportunity. Especially at a time when digital convergence is right at the top of the agenda,” said Lightfoot. He has over 15 years of experience in media in the United Kingdom, United States and China, where he focussed on strategic planning and client leadership.
