Isobar China focuses on media convergence

In order to strengthen its full service digital offering, and put stronger focus on media convergence wwwins Isobar China has made some strategic senior executive movements. Alvin Huang, MD, wwwins Isobar Beijing has been given additional responsibility as the managing partner– Integrated Media at wwwins Isobar China. Along with him Cherry Tang, who was previously director of Digital Media Services at wwwins Isobar Shanghai, has been promoted to Media Practice Leader for wwwins Isobar China. Tang will report to Huang and work with him to further evolve Isobar China’s digital media service.

With Cherry’s skills and drive for innovation and Alvin’s management support, I know we can make our ambitions a reality,” said Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar Asia Pacific about the new appointments.

Tang will focus on developing the digital media practice for wwwins Isobar in China. She will primarily drive innovation of the agency’s media product in conjunction with Isobar NowLab. “Talent is the fundamental in us demonstrating our professional digital media service. It is my goal to define the capabilities of media talent in this challenging new world, and provide them with the relevant opportunities for growth within our Isobar family,” said Tang. Her other key responsibility will also be to integrate the agency’s digital media offering with social and mobile and ensure that clients get maximum ROI benefits.

It will be an exciting journey for Cherry and the team as we start to achieve this for our clients,” said Huang. He will work closely with Tang as management sponsor for media practice development. Together they will ensure that Isobar’s digital media service model suits clients’ ever-changing needs in the world’s fastest growing digital economy.

Huang has over 17 years of experience in the digital and media industry. He joined wwwins Isobar in 2004 and has worked as Business Director in Taiwan and Managing Director in Shanghai. In 2009, he was tasked with developing the full-service offering of wwwins Isobar in Beijing, a comparatively more media-centric digital market in China. Tang has over 12 years of experience in both traditional and digital media. Before joining wwwins Isobar Shanghai in 2009, she was General Manager of GroupM Interaction Trading, Mindshare Interaction in China and Director of Zed Digital, Shanghai/Guangzhou.
