Kiss or Miss: KRDS enables people in India to decide on #kissoflove

The revolution of ‘Kiss of Love’ has gripped India these past days and the kiss marathon has created waves on the digital front too. The recent censoring in the name of moral policing received nationwide criticism for its regressive thoughts. Social and mobile agency KRDS India has launched a platform for everyone to voice their opinions on the movement by launching the #KissOrMiss campaign.

“Social Media today provides a platform for a country to voice its opinions which is a phenomenon across the globe. We hope the netizens of India will find this an exciting way to put forward their views on the issue,” said Amandeep Singh, Business Head at KRDS India.

The agency has created the ‘kissormiss’ website and initiated #KissOrMiss campaign on Twitter to know the public’s take on the democratic revolution of love. Opinions are recorded through tweets with designated #YoKiss and #NoKiss tags either for or against the cause. Based on the tweets, the characters on the kissormiss website animate and kiss. Users taking part in the campaign will be rewarded as per the best and quirkiest response.kiss of love

So far, #KissorMiss has generated over 2700 tweets, with over 80 per cent of people expressing their support for the Kiss. The campaign has also organically reached 3,800,000 users all over India.
