Lotame, the independent data management platform (DMP), has promoted Jason Downie to Chief Strategy Officer.
Previously SVP and General Manager, Data Solutions, Mr Downie will lead Lotame’s efforts across business lines to evaluate market opportunities, refine product positioning and drive growth. In his new role, Jason will oversee product, marketing, sales development, DMP & LDX strategy, while also continuing to lead the data team that he built seven years ago.

Jason has built from scratch a large business unit inside of Lotame. He has done that by being a visionary, communicating effectively, and rallying resources to deliver for our clients. Jason has the skill, ability, and most of all desire to execute to drive successful outcomes. During his seven years at Lotame, Jason has grown the company’s data business into what has become the world’s largest data exchange. Before joining Lotame, Jason spent more than 10 years as an entrepreneur in roles such as musician, bar owner and real estate dealmaker. After graduating from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr Downie spent 10 years at Bain and Company, consulting for a range of companies in the Fortune 500.
