One of China’s leading third party advertising technology solution providers Miaozhen Systems (Moment Systems), has ventured into the Japanese market to provide online campaign measurement solutions for P&G in the country. According to the company statement, this makes Miaozhen the first Chinese advertising technology company to set up business in another country.
The company started its measurement services in Japan with P&G brands including SKII, Whisper, Pantene and Gillette. The contract is for 2012. Besides P&G now the company is planning to provide products and services to Japanese local brands for their online investment.
In China, Miaozhen provides 3rd party online advertising measurement and optimization for P&G and other international brands such as Microsoft, YUM, L’Oreal, Coca-cola, IBM and Volkswagen. In 2010, P&G’s 28 brands in China used Miaozhen’s measurement and optimization services. With Miaozhen’s data, P&G launched more and more online video ads in the last 2 years.
The company was founded in 2006. Miaozhen works with core technologies like big data, natural language processing and machine learning. The company has developed Moment Tracking Technology, and along with its database of the browsing habits of over 450 million Internet users in China, it offers effective online measurement services. According to the company, its unique services help advertisers efficiently measure the impact of their online advertising including reach, frequency, iGRP and demography of target audience. It also helps advertisers to enhance the online return on investment (ROI) and optimize future media investment, the company said.
