Independent digital agency, Profero, has announced the merger of Profero Japan with local communications agency Alien-Eye. Effective immediately, the new entity will operate under the Profero Japan brand led by Alien-Eye CEO James Hollow supported by Toshiki Sato as Head of Strategic Planning and Ryuichi Kaneda as Head of Account Services.Wayne Arnold, Profero
The merger will allow Profero Japan to strengthen its market offering with a larger team and an increased skill set to offer existing and new clients.
Profero Co-Founder and Global CEO, Wayne Arnold, said the timing was right to boost Profero’s Japanese operations. “Japan’s domestic economy is resurging, meaning Profero Asia is perfectly placed to partner with local brands looking to expand into international markets. We already have a strong legacy of working with some of the region’s most exciting and globally ambitious organisations and merging with Alien-Eye offers us a great opportunity to build upon that,” he said.James Hollow, Profero
Alien Eye Co-Founder and CEO, James Hollow, commented that the new entity would be significantly stronger than the sum of its parts. He said, “Combining Profero’s formidable brand strength and global network with the newly combined team’s local expertise and talent will offer a real challenger brand to the current Japanese digital landscape. Few organisations have the ability to find, inspire and connect audiences by combining media, creative and technology under one roof in this way. This unique skill set makes us even better placed to fill what we see as a key performance gap in the market.”
Profero Japan partners with a wide range of local and international brands including Cannondale, Lufthansa, Norton, Rakuten and Salesforce.
