In a bid to bolster its existing digital offer, Publicis Groupe created Razorfish Global, a new network comprising Razorfish and Rosetta with US based Tom Adamski as its CEO. The network was created to combine Razorfish’s strengths in technology, media and creative/user experience with Rosetta’s customer intelligence capabilities to drive business transformation on a global scale.
The Groupe has now put together a global leadership team consisting of Ariel Marciano, Chief Financial Officer; Alicia Shankland, Chief Talent Officer; Scott Sorokin, Chief Strategy Officer; William Lidstone, Chief Marketing Officer; Ray Velez, Chief Technology Officer and Daniel Bonner, Chief Creative Officer. All members of the global leadership team will report directly to Mr Adamski.
“We are in the midst of a massive evolution in the way brands interact with their customers. Razorfish Global brings together world-class talent in business process consulting, change management, intelligent design, commerce and data, all underpinned with a significantly increased technology capability,” said Publicis Groupe’s Chief Executive Officer Maurice Levy in a statement.
Earlier this week, Publicis Groupe had announced its decision to acquire Sapient to create Publicis.Sapient. Razorfish Global and Publicis’ second digital brand, DigitasLBi, would become part of that network, and the CEOs would report to Sapient CEO Alan Herrick.
On the formation of the new global leadership team, Mr Adamski observed, “We offer clients something no competitor can match – the perfect blend of creative experience, technology, media and customer intelligence with innovation at our core. We represent Publicis Groupe’s most dominant player in commerce and the most attractive agency partner for clients that are customer obsessed.”
The network also announced the members of its Brand leadership team. These leaders will be responsible for the growth and operation of their respective agencies and for collaborating with leadership across the network. Members of this team include Eric Healy, Rosetta; Shannon Denton, Razorfish North America; Michael Karg, Razorfish International and Dan Connolly, LEVEL Studios.
