Publicis Groupe detailed its first half 2015 earnings with a over 35 per cent hike in its revenues to 4,542 and a 38.5 per cent rise quarter over quarter at 2,439, the company said in an announcement.
Maurice Lévy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Publicis Groupe said, “The combined effects of the Sapient acquisition, the strengthening of the dollar and the good work put in by our staff have considerably improved our key figures: with revenue rising 35.3 per cent, our operating margin up 35.4 per cent with operating margin rate reaching 13 per cent of revenue, net income attributable to the Groupe progressing by 39.6 per cent, and, finally, diluted headline diluted EPS increased by 28.2 per cent.”
Digital activities of Publicis account for half of its revenue in the first half of the year 2015. In Asia Pacific, in the Q2 2015, the company with reported growth of 28 per cent and organic growth of 3.3 per cent placed its revenue at 265 as against 207 in Q2 2014.
Asia Pacific reported growth of 26.6 per cent and organic growth was 3.1 per cent with good performance notably in India (+14.7 per cent) and a return to positive growth in the second quarter in mainland China (+4.6 per cent) after several quarters in decline.
