The South China Morning Post (SCMP) has appointed Elgen Kua for the role of Director of Corporate Communications, with effect from today.
Mr Kua will oversee the global media company’s corporate communications department and advise SCMP’s senior leadership team on corporate affairs, strategic messaging, and CSR initiatives. Reporting to the CEO Office, he will be responsible for executing the company’s communication goals and promoting the SCMP brand as the company continues its global expansion.

Prior to joining SCMP, Mr Kua was the Marketing and Communications Director at the global sports agency MP & Silva. He successfully drove key marketing initiatives, digital campaigns and corporate branding, in addition to overseeing strategic corporate affairs, crisis communications, and issues management. Before MP & Silva, Elgen was the Assistant Director at Fox International Channels and ESPN STAR Sports’ Corporate Communications department managing publicity campaigns, media relations and sports marketing.
