The online game called ‘Moments to Give’ developed by Agenda Hong Kong encourages users to log in and select funky or stylish products to create a gift set for a friend and post it on their Facebook wall. To win a prize your friend will have to open the virtual gift and post it back on your wall. The one user who sends out the maximum number of virtual gifts stands to win an exquisite jewellery set from the brand.
About this game the company statement said, “An engaging gifting experience aside, ‘Moments to Give’ is a simple platform for fans to send a Christmas greeting, and reconnect with old friends over a shared social experience.” Not only this serves as a platform to connect, stylish users are also encouraged to use this app to create their own specific style statement using products and accessories from Swarovski’s latest collection.
To promote this online game further, the jeweller plans to launch a mobile app that will also provide tips to consumers on how to mix and match the jewels for the perfect gift and to celebrate a specific occasion. To promote this Agenda has tied up with Sina Weibo and Facebook. In fact the mobile app will help the company to create a seamless experience for the users on the two platforms.
The company started its online push in the country earlier this year by launching its spring summer collection via a mobile app. Post the success of the campaign, Swarovski decided to exploit online social networking to promote the holiday collections.
