Total seeks to amplify the brand awareness for TOTAL QUARTZ through the sponsorship and boost its user engagement through digital and mobile-first campaigns.
Keeping this brief in mind, KRDS Singapore will be creating an immersive mobile AR experience. The game aims to take badminton fans on a virtual travel adventure to different cities where the tournaments are being held. Once transported to the destination, the player has to spot Total’s very own robot, RobotQuartz, by moving their phone around. This would be achieved by designing a 360-degree gameplay using the phone’s gyroscope. The game would consist of 14 tournaments with 4 scenes and will be available on WeChat and a Microsite. The game was first launched on May 20 to coincide with TOTAL BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2018.
KRDS Singapore will also launch the brand account on WeChat and assist with its growth. Since WeChat is one of the principal social media platforms in China, KRDS will be crafting a customized content strategy to relevantly engage the users.
