In all there are only 30 entries that have made it to the Titanium and Integrated Lions shortlist this year. Of these, four entries come from Asia Pacific agencies. These include two from Australia and one each from New Zealand and South Korea.
Leo Burnett Sydney’s ‘Small World Machines’ for Coca-Cola and McCann Melbourne’s ‘Dumb Ways to Die’ for Metro Train have secured an entry each in the Titanium and Integrated Lions shortlist. Both entries have already won numerous awards at the Festival this year. ‘Dumb Ways to Die’ has in fact cornered three Grand Prix for McCann already.
Draft FCB New Zealand’s ‘Driving Dogs’ for SPCA/ Mini New Zealand and Cheil Worldwide’s ‘Bridge of Life’ for Samsung Life Insurance in South Korea are the other two entries that have made it to the shortlist.
The winners will be announced on the last day of the Festival, June 22, 2013 at the Palais de Festivals in Cannes, France.
